Jim Cunningham is an international speaker who has worked extensively throughout North America and Europe.  He specializes in helping organizations build a thriving service excellence culture by developing leaders, outlining a fail proof business model, building employee retention and reshaping customer loyalty.  For 15 years, Jim has been integral part of The Walt Disney Company, the world leader in delivering service excellence.

Jim’s formalized training prepared him to be an education professional. Master’s degree in Psychology from University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Salem State College.
For eight years, was the senior professional development programs facilitator at the Disney Institute.  During his tenure, Jim’s entrepreneurial spirit helped him to create, design and build the highly acclaimed Disney Keys to Excellence programs.  As a result, Jim became an internationally recognized speaker who motivated and inspired thousands of corporate professionals from around the world.

Jim was instrumental in creating a culture and brand identity for Disneyland Paris.  For nearly a year, designed and facilitated the management training series for Disney’s European executives and managers.  Through Jim’s guidance and inspiration, these Disney leaders went on to successfully lead Disneyland Paris and become Europe’s number one quality service provider.
As part of Michael Eisner’s major growth plan for The Walt Disney World Resort, Jim was invited to be part of the Disney University team.  In this role, Jim was responsible for managing and facilitating a variety of executive, leadership and entry level training programs.  These learning opportunities prepared the Disney team to effectively manage the tremendous growth while enhancing the Disney culture and brand.
Joining Disney in 1987, was a member of the finance operations team where he served hundreds of internal clients. 
For six years, was Director of Training for the Boston and Maine Rail Road.  During this period, Jim designed and was responsible for the organization’s training operations.  In this role facilitated programs for all levels of leadership and was instrumental in building the industry’s first in-house training facility.
Jim is nationally and globally affiliated with ASTD and SHRM professional associations.
